Pre-Cataclysm Geography of the Thalassan Sphere

Summary

Before the Cataclysm, the Thalassan Sphere was dominated by two large continents. While both continents were given many names, in her extensive History of the World, Agda the Historian called the great western continent Elderic and the great eastern continent Avhan. East of Avhan, the Dragonfires have been called the Dragonfires for as long as they've had a name in any human tongue.

Near the equator, west of Avhan was Qund Qovana, an island the size of modern-day Hagiv. None of it remains above the waterline today and the Qund call it Qovana, Lost Beneath the Waves.

West of Qund Qovana was the continent of Veruaten in what is now the Sea of Mists. Attempts to find the remains of Veruaten have thus far been unsuccessful.

The Cap has always been called the Cap or simply the Frozen North.
