Essential Crown

Overview

The Essential Crown was one of the four Essential Gifts, forged by Saevel the Artificer and given to humanity by Aymar Summerborn at yn-av-Agova. It was given to King Yrol I along with the Essential Blade. It grants the ability to sway the hearts and minds of people and other creatures.

Later in life, King Yrol came to rely on it more and more and eventually tried to use it to bend the goddess Goa to his will. Goa took it and Queen Cyrene away from him and it hasn't been seen in the lands of men since.

Game Mechanics

The wearer of the crown may cast Charm Person and Mass Suggestion at will on targets up to 120'. They may cast Dominate Person at will, but can only dominate two people at once. Once a day, they can cast Geas, Demand, and Dominate Monster as if they were a level 36 wizard.
