Devouring Void

Summary

The Devouring Void is an immensely powerful transplanar void spirit that refuses to die in spite of entropy. It manifests its will as demons and breaches dimensions adjacent to those it has already drained, sending those demons to destroy, subvert, or enslave all living things on those planes. Once a plane is subdued, the Devouring Void extrudes a presence to the place and starts to consume all of the Essential there.

Sidhe scholars think the Devouring Void is trying to work its way back to the Essential Furnace where it could, theoretically, bring about the end of all existence.
