Goa
Summary
Goa is the third daughter of Li Stardancer and Yan the Starsinger. The Goddess of Magic, she is most commonly referred to in her aspect of Goa the Gifted.
She was born in 380 FYA in yn-av-Agova and fought alongside her sisters in the Chaosborn War. When the war was over, she took the Essential Crown from Yrol I along with the Sunstone, the Tome of the Essential and Queen Cyrene to Caldera Lake where they founded the Caldera Academy.
Like her mother Li, Goa is believed to have taken a time to be wholly human and take a lover. From 411-670 FYA, she and Cyrene were inseparable and there are many accounts of their "deep and abiding affection" for one another. Cyrene's elven heritage kept her young for a very long time, but when she finally faded and died, Goa is reported to have guided her to the Celestial Heart and into her sister's care personally.
Goa has continued to manifest periodically at the Great Library at Caldera Academy and did so frequently during the Cataclysm. Many believe she somehow kept the Cataclysm from being the end of life on Tierra, but no one is sure how.
Sometime in early history, Goa is reported to have "mated with the elements." Whatever that means, four of her children appeared at roughly the same time, representing the four elements.
