Before the Cataclysm
Before the Cataclysm, The Ionan highlands were a sparsely-populated, subtemperate area of Vestari Empire. They were largely known for their exports of timber, coal, and wool. The twisting rain hit them particularly hard early on and many were goblinized in the first few years of the Cataclysm. Remarkably, many of their tribal structures from before the Cataclysm appear to have survived goblinization intact, keeping family names and traditions even as the individuals were transformed.
The Orossai Wars
8 DB - an Orossai fleet from Thalassa lands on Cwlwm and establishes a beachhead at what would eventually be known as Culm Measures. With the combined might of the Orossai army, the Calderan wizards, the Dragons of the Claw, and the Logeti fleet, the island falls quickly.
