The Caldera Academy is the oldest school of magic in the Thalassan Sphere. Founded in 407 FA by Goa daughter of Li Stardancer and , it was created to study the magic learned in the Chaosborn War and as a home for the Essential Stone. It is built around Caldera Lake on top of a dormant volcano that is surrounded by the Ring Cities at its base. It's located in the interior of Bitu-en-Sul and surrounded by the town of Caldera Lake.
