Summary
During the Cataclysm, many humans were corrupted by the Rain of Filth, their forms changed by wild magic into something twisted and goblin-like. The changes often made them violent and prone to unexpected mood swings, largely in the direction of rage.
In many cases, the Twisted Men made common cause with the goblins and First Orcs of the time and were largely categorized as goblins. After generations of interbreeding, the line between Twisted Men and the goblin races is all but obliterated.
