Summary
The Thing is a gathering of the tribes on the Cap. Any tribal elder can call the Thing and failing to come is a grave insult to the one who called.
During a calling, leaders will often try to find consensus or compromise on conflicts among themselves. Breaking the Thing without waiting for it to be dismissed is tantamount to a declaration of war.
