Literally "the city of mud," av-Nknur was built in a ring around yn-av-Agova shorty after the departure of the sidhe. As the inner city continued to grow, humans versed in the sidhe techniques of building with silk and paper couldn't keep up with the demands of a growing city. "Temporary" buildings in the styles of the surrounding tribesmen were put up and eventually grew into an architectural style all their own.
After the sacking of yn-av-Agova in the Chaosborn War, the sidhe architectural style was largely abandoned and av-Nknur grew inward in a more human style (with bits of dwarven stonework mixed in.)
