== Summary ==

The Deck of Queens appears to be a standard fifty-two card poker deck, but every card is a queen - each of a different suit. The deck has three basic uses:

 * Divination - The deck can be used at will to gain a prophecy by laying out a standard pattern unique to the deck. The pattern can be learned by asking the Queen of Whispers, who knows the secret of magical things. The user must have [[Skill:Decipher Prophecy]] to make any sense of it.

 * Advice - The user can ask the advice of any queen in the deck and gain wisdom for the asking. The queens each have a domain of knowledge, but do not have access to the deck's powers of divination.

 * Summon Guardian - Each one of the queens can be summoned as a level 16 faerie or demon guardian of an adventurer class, depending on her suit. Half are fae. Half are demons. Red suits are fae, black demon. But not all suits are black or red. Once a guardian is summoned, the card is dormant until the queen dies or is banish, then for another year and a day. It will not give advice and cannot be used to summon a demon or guardian until it's active again.
