Originally the [[Copper Dwarves of Hagiv|copper]] and [[Nickel Dwarves of Hagiv|nickel]] tribes of of the [[Hagivi Mountains]], the twisted dwarves were those that suffered from [[manatite poisoning]] during the [[Cataclysm]]. It left them and their descendants physically and mentally damaged and very short-lived, with an estimated life span of 30. After the [[Hagivi Dwarf Wars|Dwarf Wars]], they were enslaved and made to work on Hagiv's farms and build its defenses.

During stressful situations, Twisted Dwarves must make a Willpower Roll (DC 12+ depending on stress level) or they become disoriented. Manifestations of this can include short-term catatonia, lashing out, going fetal, or wandering off in the middle of combat.

[[Nagev]], the Glorious Leader of [[Hagiv]], is by far the most famous of the twisted dwarves.
