Born in 349 FYA, Saint Amala the Betrayer or Saint Amala the Betrayed lived in [[yn-av-Agova]] and loved [[Yan Starsinger]], but lost him to [[Li Stardancer]].

Heartbroken, she fled the city and eventually settled in the swamps of [[Tunara]], where she became a priestess of [[Nugyeb the Mother]], a [[Sumpfgott|Sumpfgotten]]. As an exemplar of a dying faith, she was granted immortality and sainthood.

Amala is an [[ascendant]] and grants divine spells to her clerics and paladins. Her priesthood is generally lawful evil.
